Children’s Area

The Children’s Area will be by the magical wishing tree in the woods with sessions from 1pm – 5pm.

Workshops & Classes

1 – 4pm (continuous session) Nature Makers will have a selection of nature themed classes including Nordic braiding, nature wands, wooden disc birds and hammer flower printing (hapa zome).

3 – 5pm (continuous session) Modcaf, Aka the Modular Cafe Aldershot, will running a two hour drop in session on electronic music. Learn about synthesis, bleeps and bloops and get hands on with synths and drum machines.

Storytelling

(Stories will be for all ages, but probably best would be for 5+)

2pm (30 minute session) Joanna Gilar

Joanna will spin some wild tales of Sussex mystery, adventure and magic. Joanna is a Sussex-based storyteller and writer with a passion for wild myths. She tells magical tales for all ages and runs StoryCommons, a social enterprise dedicated to building community via stories. 

4pm (30 minute session) Heidi McNie

Heidi is a story teller and forest school facilitator who enhances her forest school sessions with stories that she links in to woodland activities. She has been story telling for over 11 years and won the Anderida Bardic Chair in 2014 becoming Chief Bard for the year. She was one of four storytellers delivering a story telling showcase and workshop at the OBOD Summer Gathering at Glastonbury in 2023, attended by members from all over the Globe. She regularly tells at the Anderida Gorsedd, the Long Man, Wilmington, East Sussex and the Brighton Tell Tales Story telling club at the Yellow Book in Brighton.

For 6 and under we have Molly Moo Cow!

1pm & 3pm (30 minute sessions) Molly Moocow: Engaging Music and Movement Classes for Pre-schoolers.

For over two decades, Molly Moocow has been a much loved local institution in and around Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex, offering dynamic and enriching classes tailored specifically for preschool children aged between 6 months and 6 years.
