Mat Flint

Mat Flint plays the Crooked Hut Stage at 5:30pm

Mat Flint was the singer, guitarist and songwriter for the early 90s band Revolver, who signed with Hut/Virgin and released several indie chart number one singles, and an album “Cold Water Flat” in 1993. After the band split up in 1994, he became the bass player for Death In Vegas, playing on each album and at every show until 2005. At the same time, he was a regular DJ at the Heavenly Social, and later Heavenly Jukebox clubs at Turnmills in London. Mat formed Deep Cut in 2007 with his wife Emma and brother Simon, and they released three albums on the Club AC30 and Gare Du Nord labels. The most recent of these, “Different Planet” in 2019, featured tracks played regularly on the BBC 6 Music evening shows.
